camel-cxf MESSAGE data formate doesn't suppose to touch or change the stream
contents.
It's just reuse the CXF transport. If your feature needs these phase, you are
not suppose to use the MESSAGE data formate.
BTW, please don't mark the Priority to be Critical to make the developer to
notice it unless it is a critical issue.
