Have you tried to convert the feed to String before sending to the
xquery component?
from("rss:http://feeds.feedburner.com/JavaCodeGeeks";)
.convertBodyTo(String.class)
.marshal().rss().to("xquery:com/jcg/test/mytransform.xquery")
.to("file://rss");
