Dear Apache enthusiasts, I'm very pleased to announce that ApacheCon North America 2015 will be held in Austin, Texas, April 13-17th. The CFP is now open at http://events.linuxfoundation.org//events/apachecon-north- america/program/cfp Please take some time to think about whether you want your project to be represented at this event, and talk with your project about what kind of content you want to present to give a well-rounded picture of your project. I also have a request for those of you who work for companies that put on events. If you have any influence on the planning of those events, please strongly encourage the planners to avoid these dates. Don't run events that complete with ApacheCon. This would include events that are about Apache technologies, and in the month or April.
