How should somebody submit a patch at present?  By email, attach to
Jira, or pull request?

If the Github repository is NOT the official repo and is not going to
be, maybe

a) somebody could change the link at the top of the Github project page
to point at this thread

b) somebody could change the comment at the top of the Github page to
say the repo is just a mirror or test?

Seeing the names of Camel committers in the Github page for camel-extra
gives the impression it is the official repository and given that Camel
itself accepts pull requests through Github this may give the wrong
impression.
