Hi Nayananga, all of these are good candidates, feel free to investigate those a bit and see what would best suit you, no need to do something that's not interesting to you. Also make sure not to take on too much work, for that I guess it's best that you familiarize yourself with the technologies referenced, especially for the new components, and try to think of what would be a minimal set of functionality to implement first.
If pick some issues to start with, make sure that you comment on them so the reporter and anyone else interested has a chance to interact with you and is also aware that you would like to work on it. zoran On Thu, Jan 23, 2020 at 4:40 AM Nayananga Muhandiram <nayanangamuhandi...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hello Mr. Zoran, Thank you for your response. > > From the new components issues, I would prefer > > There are issues for new components, like: > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-14158 > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-13934 > > From enhancing core/platform of the camel I would prefer > > Or issues that enhance the core/platform of Camel, like: > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-14135 > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-14053 > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-12623 > > From GitHub issues, I would prefer > > https://github.com/apache/camel-k/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+sort%3Aupdated-desc+label%3A%22easy+fix+-+newcomers%22 > > Please let me know what you think. And untill gsoc organizations announcing > for 2020.
