+1 (binding) There was a bit of effort to migrate the CiA2 source code as we haven't done this since Camel 3.2 or older.

So its great to see that Camel 2.x and 3.4. are functionality compatible (only a few components removed we used in 2.x examples like camel-spark-rest, and camel-restlet etc - but there are better components in 3.x that can be used instead). And some of the security components like camel-crypto now have more secured providers out of the box, so the CiA2 example was using a security provider no longer out of the box.
