Hi Camel 3.14.x was the last release to support Java 8.
So the main branch is being worked on to drop Java 8 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-17329 The compile source/target will be bumped from 1.8 to 11, meaning the generated .class are stamped with Java 11 as minimum version.
