Hi Marat and Zineb,
Thank you for expressing the willingness to help :)

I won't be able to help with the organization and that's why I'm
looking for volunteers to help out and take my place. This being an
in-person conference and with everything going on in the world these
days it is difficult to make that kind of commitment.

If you'd like to consider becoming a track chair for the Integration
track, this is is what was required for a virtual conferences in the
past from a track chair:

https://www.apachecon.com/acah2021/chairs.html

Above all, the responsibility of a track chair is to make sure that
the track happens. And I think, for an in-person conference, that
should include presence at the conference. For one in-person
conference that I chaired (in Las Vegas 2019) I Christina helped out
and took that role over from me. She made sure that talks were
introduced and on schedule as I wasn't physically present there. This
is an option that can be repeated, but I do believe someone has to be
there.

Other than that, the format is pretty much set, a day of a track is 6
or 7 sessions and the track chair(s) need to find presenters for the
amount of days requested for the track. There are always last minute
changes and those need to be handled by finding substitute presenters
or making changes to the schedule.

As I've mentioned, the call for tracks was ~two weeks ago and we're
getting to the last days when the track can be requested. There are
practical physical limitations, and not all tracks will be approved,
or approved for the requested number of days.

It would make me happy to see that the Integration track continues at
ApacheCon, and I think the community benefits from it. I'm happy to
help along the way in any way that I can, but in full honesty I can't
(co)chair the track this time around.
