It's not thrift related. It is just saying it doesn't find the main class.

Since you used the git repository, did you built it (ant build) ? And
did it built without
errors ?

If you did, you will have to provide slightly more information, like
what's the command you
used, and what you mean by 'latest git version of it' (which branch that is).
