Tickets will be created to track the implementation work. 2. Code Changes: Async Profiling in Cassandra” [Link<https://lists.apache.org/thread/98y59qp42zwwrtbcvnzvlh254c5vyhoq>] The first PR<https://github.com/apache/cassandra/pull/4255/commits> introducing Async Profiling tools within Cassandra is now open. This integrates Async Profiler into the Cassandra process, which can be started/stopped via a JMX interface. See the PR and dev list for more details. 3. Cassandra Meetup [Link<https://lists.apache.org/thread/mf8h2rcc0rc1v6bx737vg03q21jd8tyh>] There’s a Cassandra Meetup next week in Sunnyvale, CA, hosted by Uber and the Apache Cassandra community. Apache Cassandra Analytics 0.1.0 [Link<https://lists.apache.org/thread/bs063h5sxttmky1jl8vzbv2o5gmly58j>] Apache Cassandra Analytics 0.1.0 has been released. Congrats to everyone involved! 5. Migrating CLI Commands from Airline to PicoCLI [Link<https://lists.apache.org/thread/1jogx7sx6st2sym6b64gfb5q7vt1lvpo>] This work has been merged into trunk—a big win for the community, as Airline is deprecated. ZSTD Dictionaries [Link<https://lists.apache.org/thread/pd43rfws7tbgj5zp3wxvsg7lc0y52otv>] A discussion is ongoing around using ZSTD dictionaries for SSTable compression to achieve potential space and cost savings.
