I thought the same thing but had forgotten how long it took us to stabilize 5.0 
to GA. Looks like we're just over 12 months since we released that so maybe 
we're not *that* overdue.

Or maybe that's just what I'm telling myself so I don't feel so bad about 
taking so long to get back to the JDK21 work. On the plus side, it's rebased 
and updated and I'm active on it again. :)
