Hi, for those of you willing to test this, I have just committed a patch against HEAD that adds support for a field declaration as follows:
<field name="prop" type="string"> <sql name="prop" transient="true" /> </field> This addresses situations where one could un-/marshall certain fields to/from XML, but not persist them to a database.
