Keith and I have decided to move forward with the work to create a
JAXB 2 API on top of Castor XML. To this end, I'd like to keep
everyone informed of what we will be doing. We've decided to create a
Castor2 branch for all of this work in order to shield Castor 1 from
all the many changes this will entail. This will allow the work on
Castor 2 to take place in parallel to the Castor 1 work in the trunk.
In the interest of reducing the amount of headaches while working on
the Castor 2 branch, I'd prefer to create this branch only after we've
migrated the code repo from CVS -> SVN. So as soon as that decision is
made, we'll begin to move on this.
