You are welcome. Having said that, is it safe to assume that you've
tried this against SVN trunk yourself ? Or would you - if you are not
really keen on building binaries yourself - like us to make a snapshot
release available at the Codehaus snapshot repository.
I've just built the SVN trunk. I hit a couple of minor problems. The
first is to do with path quoting in the build batch files (I'll submit
an issue for this). The second is that running "build tests" fails
because it can't find a file to copy:
compile.xmlctf:
[javac] Compiling 96 source files to
C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\xmlctf\build\classes
[javac] Note:
C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\xmlctf\src\main\java\org\castor\xmlctf\RandomHelper.java
uses or overrides a deprecated API.
[javac] Note: Recompile with -deprecation for details.
[copy] Copying 2 files to
C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\xmlctf\build\classes
BUILD FAILED
C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\src\build.xml:357: The following error
occurred while executing this line:
C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\xmlctf\build.xml:47: Warning: Could not
find file C:\java\sources\castor-svn\trunk\src\test\resources\log4j.xml
to copy.
Once I commented out the copy the tests built ok.
I've tested with the jars that "build release" produces and all my tests
pass here.
Thanks,
-Guy.
