Hi Ralf

I took the latest from the trunk and then applied your patch
patch-C1342-20070621.txt.

I still get the same error though. I'm not too sure exactly what the problem
is, but I think it's because of things like 'PersistentSet' and 'IdentityMap'.
I think these are getting past the Proxy check in Marshaller.java (because they
aren't proxies - they're just internal Hibernate classes).

I'll play around with my mapping anyway and see exactly which classes cause
problems for Castor and let you know what I find.

Hi Werner

Thanks. Actually I realised that I also need to apply the patch which is
attached to the bug report too - which I think is the critical stage I was
missing out.

Sorry - this is a learning exercise for me :)

Richard,

there's no need to open up your company firewall for a one-off download.
 Visit

http://svn.castor.codehaus.org/browse/~tarball=zip/castor/castor/trunk/trunk.zip

as this will (on-the-fly) provide you with a ZIP of the latest SVN sources.
