Hello, to get a continuous build for Castor I've put most (all) Castor related projects into the Bamboo server provided by Codehaus. The current build status can be watched at: http://bamboo.ci.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR
I've added the projects to be build with JDK1.4 and Maven2.0.7. Some projects are already build with JDK5 or JDK6 but this is under construction. The two test suites (xmlctf and cpactf) are currently failing - this is because the test suites were not meant to be executed by a build server but on a local development environment. I will leave the projects and hope we will soon be able to get them fixed - any help there is appreciated. Three projects are currently missing: *) cpaptf - this is a performance test suite; I think it makes no sense for it to be execute on a 'public' build server *) example - is also not designed to be executed by a build server... maybe with a little help *) xml - will be added as soon as CASTOR-2287 is done As for the email notification via scm list... a continuous build makes only sense if the information of failed builds is spread. Werner and I thought that the scm list would be best fitted for this information. After the first wave of failed builds in the startup phase the number of messages will be hopefully low. I hope you enjoy that Castor now has a continuous build and we're informed is something in our builds went wrong.
