I just committed a patch that does a few things with the code base.
a) I created a new 'diff' module that now hosts the XMLDIff and
associated classes.
b) I moved quite some classes from the 'xml' module to the 'core'
module, mainly those with a 'org.castor.core.*' package name (and some
others referenced).
c) I introduced the new 'diff' module as dependency to the 'schema' and
'xmlctf-framework' modules.
This was necessary to avoid a Maven dependency cycle and enable Bao to
add (real) JUnit test cases to the 'schema' module that add test
coverage for the SchemaWriter.
