As such, support for Java 1.4 has been dropped. - New binaries packaging: XML (data binding) has been moved to a separate (and new) JAR. - HTML documentation for older releases (starting with release 1.2) will be available for browsing as well. - The XML code generator has been extended to support generation of JDO-specific descriptor classes based on annotated XML schemas. - A new reference guide has been added, moving parts of the documentation to a new format, supporting HTML, chunked HTML and PDF by default. I will follow up with more details especially on the latter two features in separate emails.
