Hey Devs, I just created an issue concerning transitive persistence. Flexible cascading in my opinion is an indispensable feature in general and if Castor wants to become JPA compliant. You will find the issue at [1].
Unfortunately, introducing cascading is out of scope for my GSoC project, but I would give a helping hand, if someone is willing to go ahead! (I already created ~1200 LoC of tests to get a feeling for complexity on this issue) I would really appreciate your comments (JIRA is a better place, I think)!
