>From the DataNucleus docs:
JDO lifecycle occurs such that at commit the object moves into hollow state
(still has its identity, but its field values are optionally unloaded).
However, historically I could not find a way to recover an OID from a hollow
entity pojo (outside of a transactional context).
Solution is by memoizing the OID in the Persistable.dnStateManager field. Using
a pseudo StateManager, that only acts as a holder of an OID.
