I particularly like the "what would this project be worth if you developed it from scratch" metric. Sure it is just a stab in the dark, but it does give open source projects the dignity of being valued along side commercial code in a monetary sense. Interesting that they picked 4000 lines of code per year as the average output of a Java programmer.
It is a very pretty site. And if anyone wants to see Ajax used well, log in and try to edit the tags assigned to a project.
