It would be great if Cayenne modeller supports developing plugins which would
install its menu items, property editors, etc. and generate code by making use
of Cayenne core OR mapping information. I have implemented a Swing application
myself which supports the above features but it is not as stables as cayenne in
terms of modelling OR mapping definitions.
The benefit of this feature is to allow developers implement their own template
based code generators so that other kind of codes (not necessarily Java source
code) would be generated by using Cayenne.
Anyways if this feature sounds interesting for the Cayenne team, I would be
pleased to discuss the details.
