Same goes for CayenneModeler I guess :-/ Although we can do another
user list Java version survey, once Apple makes 1.6 the default JVM.
But at least now we can create Java 6 extensions for runtime if we
feel like it.. (kind of like we did for Java 5 enums when the rest of
Cayenne was still on 1.4)

But did you notice that it is not only 10.5 only, but also cuts out
32 bit machines Apple released just 12 months ago. So much for
Apple's enterprise aspirations if they abandon hardware after 12
months. A bit annoying since it looks like our Swing applications
will be stuck in Java 1.5 for the next 5 years.
