This is getting to be an annoying issue. I can no longer duplicate the first
issue of icon placement. I've never been able to duplicate the second issue
you've reported.
Maybe 10.5.4 fixed the issue? Do you still see it? If you start with a clean
prefs, do you see it (not that that *should* matter)?
