IIRC Ari also suggested the same thing. Now trying to remember why it
was added to the core Cayenne in the first place. (did we use in the
past in situations similar to the current JNDI hack??) Don't remember,
and +1 on moving it out.

By the way, do we need this ConncetionProperties class in src/main/
java?
Maybe move it to src/test/java?

rename 'cayenne.test.connection' to 'cayenneTestConnection' and add
configurations variables for tests
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CAY-1311
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAY-1311
Project: Cayenne
Issue Type: Task
Components: Cayenne Core Library
Affects Versions: 3.0 beta 1
Reporter: Olga Tkacheva
* rename 'cayenne.test.connection' to 'cayenneTestConnection' (Hudson
chokes on the variables with dots since it executes some of the
relevant
scripts with Groovy).
* absorb the connection dictionary variables into the default
config so
that we can run the tests against all Java dbs without needing any
external
file. Even Derby can run with a completely in-memory database.
