The CMIS spec defines the creation date and creator as system
properties, which are nor settable.
In theory, it would be possible to bend the spec. If the repository
would mark those properties as writable, OpenCMIS would support this
scenario. But Alfresco doesn't do that.

I have some colleagues who want migrate documents from an old
document repository to Alfresco.
They do not want to lose the creation date nor the creator of the
documents.
Would it be possible to do that ?
I looked at the updates of the properties of cmisObject but I don't
know the extent of it or if those values can be altered at all.
Or perhaps there are some tools to do that easily ?
