DONG ZHAO commented on CMIS-673:
--------------------------------
Hi Florian,
The problem only happens on websphere not on Tomcat.
OpenCMIS NTLM authentication provider is working fine with Tomcat env.
I did another try with atompub binding instead of webservice binding. NTLM
authentication provider works perfect on tomcat as well but not on websphere. I
saw that the NTLM authentication provider wrap the java common Authenticator
and passed through over the HTTP for the authentication.
I am just wondering if there is any websphere patch against the service binding.
Thanks.

> Environment: websphere/windows7/sharepoint2010

> Hi,
> I've got an issue of CMIS acces to the sharepoint through keberos
> authentication on IIS. Does cmis NTLM authentication provider is supported
> under the websphere environment?
> The environment is :
> 1. My web application is using openCMIS 0.8.0 and it is deployed on IBM
> websphere application server.
> 2. cmis client binding is using websphere cmis client binding package.
> 3. The sharepoint 2010 is installed on windows7.
> 4. Sharepoint cmis connector has been installed.
> There isn't any issue on using basic auth in sharepoint for websphere but not
> on using kerberos auth.
>
> However, there isn't any issue on using both basic auth and Kerberos auth
> when web app deployed on Tomcat.
> The openCMIS authentication provider is changed according to the sharepoint :
> The openCMIS uses basic authentication provider if sharepoint is configured
> as basic authentication. Otherwise it will use NTLM authentication provider
> if Sharepoint is configured as Kerboros authentication.
> Thanks
