There is currently no UI in the CMIS Workbench to create policy objects.
Please open an improvement request [1].
Meanwhile you can use the console in the CMIS Workbench to create new policies.

Hi,
I've created a type definition for cmis:policy objects and like to
create a policy object using the CMIS Workbench (version 0.12.0). But
when I click on Create Object there is no option to create policies. My
policy is listed as type, so I suppose that the workbench is aware of
the policy type.
Is it possible to activate creating policies using the Create Object
dropdown menu or is creating policies not supported?
