Only the AtomPub binding in the CMIS 1.0 spec defines an (optional) operation
to retrieve unfiled objects. It doesn't exits for any other binding and was
removed for the AtomPub binding in the CMIS 1.1 spec.
So, no, it doesn't exist for the Browser binding.
