We can build them automatically using Ant.
However it contains asynchronous process and requires Eclipse on the CI server.
So I think it's difficult to automate building of eclipse plug-ins.
I thought this issue has been solved :( : there seems to be quite a few 
articles about
automated headless build of Eclipse and plug-ins, or even using Maven 
for this process.
