I've made some progress on Ajax support this week and have most moving parts working. As a testbed I've converted ClickClick JQuery to trunk and the examples ported quite quickly. With Ajax support in core there is no reason to keep JQuery support under the ClickClick umbrella so I'd like to move it into its own project[1].
