    Description: This is an umbrella issue for a number of improvements that 
would be great to see on the UI's frontend. Currently we have no build in 
place, so we have no JS/CSS minification. We don't have a convenient way of 
managing dependencies and we have a large number of libraries just checked into 
our repository. We should consider using Grunt + Bower or some other helpful 
tools to improve on this. Adding "low dash" to this list of helpful things 
would be a nice improvement as well!  (was: This is an umbrella issue for a
