Hi Lewis

I'm linked into the IS-ENES2 program in the EU and in particular am involved in the periphery of the climate4impacts tool http://climate4impact.eu/impactportal/general/index.jsp which has been developed over the last few years. I have tried to raise awareness of OCW (well RCMES originally) within this community but they are currently leaning heavily on OpenClimateGIS as far as I can understand. I'm happy to raise awareness of OCW again as they are a generally receptive and flexible community. One key component that I see has been discussed within OCW but I'm not sure how far it has progressed is dataset linkages to the ESGF which is something climate4impact uses extensively. In fact it is really just a user friendly interface and analysis tool with ESGF as the backend storage.

regards,
Chris Jack

Hi Folks,
Are there currently any European organizations using ocw?
Are there known existing channels of communication with other end users
and/or producers of climate related datasets?
Thanks
Lewis
