Looks like Kyo has answered your question.

If you need accurate historical data, you may use one of reanalysis data
instead of model simulations. The ERA-Interim reanalysis, one of the most
widely used data in research community, is freely available from the site:
http://www.ecmwf.int/en/research/climate-reanalysis/browse-reanalysis-datasets.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Dear Gayashan,

Please let us know what would be the most convenient way to download the
datasets to run RCMES based on OCW.
I can offer you several options to download the data.

1) wget script to download model output files from Earth System Grid
Federation (ESGF): you can sign up on ESGF for free.
2) Dropbox or Google Drive
3) If you could provide a temporary access to your server, I can transfer
model files to your server. We have provided RCMES to Vietnam Institute of
Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change in this way.

Best regards,
Kyo
