This is a very old JIRA. I suspect it was completed with the addition of
[https://github.com/apache/climate/tree/master/ocw/esgf]
and
[https://github.com/apache/climate/blob/master/examples/esgf_integration_example.py]
To close it out, I've run pylint on everything in
[https://github.com/apache/climate/tree/master/ocw/esgf] and
[https://github.com/apache/climate/blob/master/examples/esgf_integration_example.py]
and corrected everything EXCEPT where it looked like it would be a breaking
change to someone using the library (e.g. invalid method names).
