Hi Michael, The former. It would have been a drop in replacement for the main Website. BTW, we have a VM for OCW which could be used to host a public version of the ocw-ui and backend service. I don't know if you would be interested in establishing the service on the VM but if you would be then I would certainly help in the effort. Thanks Lewis
