The timeline widget should display the start and end date for each dataset
added for an evaluation. The timeline bars should be color-coordinated with the
map overlays of each dataset. It should also be implemented in a way for users
to easily decipher which bar represents the dates they have chosen for their
own evaluation.
I have looked into several timeline applications that have already been
implemented. I mostly liked the CHAP Links Library for its ease of use and that
it is licensed under the Apache 2.0 License.
