Currently global datasets and preview map thumbnails don't play nice. The maps
need to be sufficiently small so the display looks nice but that usually means
that it's very difficult (read not possible) to fit all of the map into the
thumbnail. Instead of showing the actual map let's display an image that tells
the user that the dataset is global.
