Alex Goodman commented on CLIMATE-259:
--------------------------------------

Hi Andrew,

Glad to hear that you are approaching this problem now. As always, let me know
if you need help getting the plotting functions to work. Please note that the
most up to date version of these is currently in the branch
RefactorInput/ocw/plotter.py. If the version inside the branch you just made is
the same as the one from Kyo's "monster_metrics_function", make sure you change
it as it had a bug where the x-axis had no labels for time series labeled by
month.

Thanks,
Alex

> A number of changes to the existing UI and the underlying Bottle web services
> were made over the last several months to improve support for different
> plotting mechanisms. These changes are extremely valuable to the system as a
> whole, but at the moment they exist in a siloed implementation that makes it
> difficult for a user to select individual metrics/plotting options. This
> branch represents a space for organizing the changes to be more modular and
> to better leverage the OCW APIs
