Hi Cam,

Kyo and I originally found it in the matplotlib-users mailing list archive.
Yannick posted that code after someone asked how a Taylor Diagram could be
made using matplotlib. It was more or less a straight up copy/paste. Beyond
that I don't think there are any special license restrictions for
implementing it in our own code.
