Sudha, If this automated testing is required for SysLogs I don't think Marvin can do it. Syslogs are administration related and I'm not even sure how one would automatically test something like this. I've been using syslog appenders on our test infrastructure instances and these logs show up on jenkins build jobs for troubleshooting.
