Hi, At present (4.1 and earlier), CHAP is not supported when creating Primary Storage.
If you want to use CHAP (as I often do), you must set it up from the hypervisor side. For example, if you're using XenServer, create a storage repository based on your iSCSI target and use CHAP. Then, go into CloudStack and select PreSetup for the protocol of the Primary Storage. If you're using VMware, select vmfs as the protocol and point to the iSCSI datastore you created and set up with CHAP. Does that make sense?
