When introducing new features, it is recommended to always target the main
repository branch. For the PR description, there is a Markdown template
available [1]. It is important to be as descriptive as possible, both in
the PR description and in the manual testing section, as this significantly
helps other developers to review and validate the PR. Additionally, for
major features and enhancements, publishing a design specification is
strongly encouraged.

For PRs to be merged, two approvals are required, one of which must
encompass manual testing. Furthermore, all pipeline checks must pass
successfully.

The project wiki contains instructions for developers [2]. They can be
helpful, but some information may be outdated.
