Hello, Sandeep When introducing new features, it is recommended to always target the main repository branch. For the PR description, there is a Markdown template available [1]. It is important to be as descriptive as possible, both in the PR description and in the manual testing section, as this significantly helps other developers to review and validate the PR. Additionally, for major features and enhancements, publishing a design specification is strongly encouraged.
For PRs to be merged, two approvals are required, one of which must encompass manual testing. Furthermore, all pipeline checks must pass successfully. The project wiki contains instructions for developers [2]. They can be helpful, but some information may be outdated. Hope it helps :), Bernardo De Marco Gonçalves (bernardodemarco) [1]: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/blob/main/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md [2]: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/Developers Em qua., 21 de jan. de 2026 às 03:43, sandeep locharla < [email protected]> escreveu: > Hello Everyone, > > My team and I at NetApp are planning on raising our first PR for ONTAP > storage plugin support.
