I would like to draw attention to the aforementioned issue. With an out of the box fresh 4.3 release setup using RBD primary, S3 secondary and KVM hypervisors, I experience newly created volumes changing to "Ovm" format soon after creation. This disables snapshotting of volumes, which worked fine surprisingly on 4.2.1 other than some other issues. I can see no reason for this to be occurring, and since it was closed without significant investigation (or so it appears to me) there is no course of action available to me other than to fix it. Could someone point me in the right direction as far as where to start looking through code, or is there a fix somewhere floating around already?
