Github user imduffy15 commented on the pull request: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-cloudmonkey/pull/2#issuecomment-69542479 > To test CloudMonkey we can mock a fake mgmt server and use a standard set of queries to check cloudmonkey's output as it receives known json result from the fake mgmt server. I was being lazy and not wanting to generate a bunch of mocks... hence the simulator approach. Do you have an easy way of doing this? I know we did something similar for ec2stack: https://github.com/BroganD1993/ec2stack/tree/master/tests/data > On this page I've shared an example to deploy a basic zone using cloudmonkey as a bash tool: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/CloudStack+cloudmonkey+CLI#CloudStackcloudmonkeyCLI-Usingasacommandlinetool Awesome! Thanks for the link, I will play about this this soon hopefully.
