Github user jburwell commented on the pull request: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack-www/pull/20#issuecomment-159575622 @karuturi the repos currently listed on the [Downloads page](http://cloudstack.apache.org/downloads.html) are not under community control. Furthermore, the manner in which the page is laid out, it appears as though the packages and repos are endorsed by the community. However, at no point did the community vote out those packages. As such, the pages must indicate that the packages and repos listed are not community endorsed or managed. Finally, from a fairness perspective, we should not be picking which 3rd party repos are listed. We either list all maintained 3rd party repos or we list none. The list should include a description of each repository to inform decision about which repository to use (if any). @remibergsma the packages distributed by ShapeBlue are the baseline releases built noredist. There are no additional patches or changes made to them. The reality is that many users need at least one noredist plugin. As a community, we will never be able to distribute the pre-built noredist plugins for legal reasons. The ShapeBlue repositories address this important user issue.
