All,

Debian 9 (https://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases#Production_Releases) EOL date
is in July 2020 (while the LTS EOL date is still far away in 2022 for security
updates).

We've moved to a Debian 10 based systemvmtemplate on master/4.15-snapshot now
which will contain python3 (python2 still default at /usr/bin/python) and
brings newer jdk11, strongswan packages, newer kernel and security updates.
This will unblock the community for doing any python2-to-python3 work for
systemvms/VRs.

While the 4.14 Debian 10 systemvmtemplate will continue to work with master,
developers working on 4.15 milestone PRs should switch to using the
4.15/Debian10 systemvmtemplate in their local dev-test environments, either
building it yourself using packer or get it from
http://download.cloudstack.org/systemvm/4.15/ (uploaded for testing until 4.15
GA). Trillian has been configured to run tests against the new systemvmtemplate
now.

Thanks.
