Hi Dirk, When we build packages for 4.15 we indeed build UI using npm build and copy the built artifacts from dist directory to CloudStack's ui/ directory. The only file that gets replaces is the index.html, no other files get copied. Next, we build rpm/deb packages which includes the built UI.
If jetty is failing to come up, there's a backend/DB etc issue, please check the logs, apparmour and firewall rules (ports 8080, 8250, 9090, 8443).
