For this particular set of problems there is no way we are going toIf you look at BPEL4WS more closely, you'll see that it is itself a procedural programming language with XML syntax.
write JavaScript based flow by hand. As Stephano and I discussed last
November there may be a way of generating JavaScript flow from our XML
descriptions, but I don't have enough experience to know if that's
possible yet. The BPEL4WS spec is huge (95 pages in v1.0 and that
doesn't get into a lot of specifics). Our subset will be small in
comparison but still pretty complex.
