I am an occasional reader of cocoon-devel, Cocoon user and Python
fan. I don't know whether you have to rely on Jython for a better
scripting language for Cocoon. There is another interesting
Java-Python project out there, the Java-Python extension. In a
nutshell, it relies on parallel virtual machines (Java-VM and
Python-VM communicating). Since Python has continuations since 2.2
(well, generators and the yield statement), this could be of interest.
